1st of three T20 internationals was played last night between Pakistan and West Indies at Dubai International Stadium, Dubai.
Pakistan’s Sarfraz Ahmed won the toss and made a decision to field against the West Indies Cricket Team. Pakistan lead the T20 series by 1-0 against West Indies by nine wickets after the green shirts restricted the opponent team to 115 scores in the first of three Twenty20 internationals at Dubai International Stadium, Dubai on Friday. Pakistani Cricket Team restricted the West Indies team to 115 scores.
West Indies gave Pakistan a target of 116 scores. Babar Azam scored 55 runs in 37 balls while Khalid Latif scored 34 to 32 balls and then Pakistan finished the match in the start of 14th over.
Imad Wasim became only the second Paki bowler and first spinner to got five wickets for only 14 runs.
“Dew will be a factor because of humidity, so we want to chase,” Sarfaraz said. “We’re excited. The morale within the group is high. Our white-ball cricket is getting better, we’ve been playing T20 cricket back home,” Sarfaraz added.
2nd T20 International scheduled on saturday while the third will be played on Tuesday in Abu Dhabi. The match will begin at 9pm (Pakistan Time). The match will air on Tens Sports and ESPN.
