Huawei Mate 30

Huawei does not fail to deliver, once again, as it sets to launch a stylish and chic new smartphone in the Huawei Mate 30 series. In a huge launch event held at Munich on Thursday, Huawei unveiled its new smartphone Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro. The features included:

Although, the features and style of the phone were on par with any other, when compared; however, the absence of google apps was severely felt by many users who got a chance to handle the phone.

Huawei Mate 30

On the surface, Huawei has access to basic android coding or open source android, so the smartphone will not completely be different from other android operated phones, yet there lies an air of uncertainty of how the phone’s functioning will be and if Huawei can fill the gap satisfactorily with their customized apps.

With major apps like google maps, chrome, play store etc. missing will Huawei lose the market it had previously widely controlled, is a question we will have to wait to get answered. For now, what is certain though is that despite android not functioning with google backing, Huawei has more room to progress and excel in the field of android research. With android being the only future for the company, how will Huawei utilize this opportunity to make its phone grow technologically, is completely up to the company.

Will Huawei make this feature a competitive edge for themselves or will it lead Huawei downhill in the race, only time will tell.
